One thing I like to do after attending a conference is to review my notes about a month after it is over. Now I know it has not yet been a month but it is close enough.... So, this afternoon I took a few moments to review my notes from my time at Granger and here are the highlights....
1. The transparency of the Granger staff was EXTREMELY impressive.
2. The quality of delivery and execution was high.
3. Too many vendors... but overall they were good quality for the most part.
4. Granger's IT staff.... I cannot say enough about these dudes!!! I don't know what Granger is paying them but they should triple it!!!
5. The middle screen rocks!!! The stripe is kinda annoying but I could live with it.
6. I have discovered a new favorite speaker.... actually two.... Rob Wegner and Guy Kawasaki!!!! I'll listen to them any day of the week and twice on Sunday's.
7. Granger's IT staff.... (They really are worth mentioning twice)
8. Speak through the noise of life to MAKE CERTAIN that people know they matter to God!!!
9. If yahoo! calls.... accept the job
10. To be innovative, you HAVE be two curves ahead....
**NOTE** Though the IT round table was not officially part of Innovative it is worth noting I left as/ more encouraged from those few hours than I have in any other few hours within recent memory. Thanks to EVERYONE who came and thanks to Jason, Ed, Kyle, and the rest of the GCC staff who made it happen. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!
Matt,
Thanks for coming! Enjoyed hanging out with ya.
