I like to think I'm a computer geek. Mostly though I'm a wanna be geek. In other words, I don't know a lot of stuff you would picture an IT guy knowing. Things like how SSL works, the ins and outs of DHCP, SQL server, a love of Microsoft, etc... Like I've said before though, I REALLY like technology and what it brings to the table and I truly believe quality in technology is a non-negotiable for the Church.
With all of that said, one product I've been watching over the past couple years is Fellowship One. What impresses me about Fellowship Technologies (F1's creators) is how seemingly fresh their approach is to the ChMS (Church Management Software) market. Their ideas are good and their product is even better. Now the best part...these guys rock!!! If you have worked with them I'm sure you know they are a solid organization that genuinely desires to see lost people come to know Christ. If you are in the market for a new way to stay in great contact with the people you have been entrusted to lead check them out. They are, as Guy Kawasaki says, two curves ahead.
